Biomechanics Specialist

Picture
Biomechanics evaluates the motion of a living organism (in this program’s manual we are only concerned with human beings) and the actions of forces on that organism.

With this specialization, I will incorporate several different areas of study to your workouts. This includes anatomy and physiology, kinematics (the study of motion without regard to its causes), kinesiology (the study of human movement) and kinetics (the study of forces acting on a system).

Functional Training Specialist

Picture
Whether the goal is aesthetics or performance, proper functional fitness training will improve both. The main goal of most gym members, or fitness enthusiasts, is how they look more than “function.” However, function is proven to improve not only sport and work performance, but physical appearance as well. Learn these essential skills and become a top-level fitness professional.

What is functional training? Functional training is the use of exercises which involve complex, multi-joint movements of the upper body, core and lower body in each exercise. Just because the body CAN move in a given direction does not necessarily mean that it should be reinforced through repetitive movement patterns, with explosive tempo and/or heavy loads. We need more information before making such choices.

Speed, Agility, & Quickness Specialist

Picture
Train with the ne that uses the same program as the US Secret Service - Speed, Agility, & Quickness by NESTA.

The Speed Agility and Quickness program is designed for fitness training professionals who wish to expand their careers and athletes who want to improve sports performance. Trainers and coaches who work with athletes in such sports as basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, track & field, fighting arts, and others will find this program particularly useful. This unique program will teach you how to create comprehensive SAQ training programs with little or no equipment, as well as using more advanced training tools.

Core Conditioning Specialist

Picture
Before personal trainers develop any fitness program, their client must have a strong core foundation to eliminate or reduce any chance of injury and improve performance.

A strong core is essential for power transfer from the lower to upper body and upper to lower body during all physical activities. A weak core, and lack of understanding of how core function affects movement and sports performance, will lead to diminished results and a greater likelihood of injury.

The goal of core stability training is to effectively recruit the trunk muscles, and then learn to control the position of the lumbar spine during dynamic movements by using the deep trunk muscles.
